This concert is a replacement for the Marimba Recital by Jay O' Brien. ICC officials received word that Mr. O’Brien lost everything in the New York flood and will be unable to perform. Ms. O’Boyle is an Associate Professor of Music at the University of Tulsa, and Concertmaster of the Signature Symphony at Tulsa Community College. She enjoys a distinguished career as performer and teacher, and has performed in the United States, Europe, Japan, South America, and Poland. She is a member of Trio Tulsa and the University of Tulsa Ensemble in Residence. Ms. O’Boyle has degrees from the University of New Mexico and Yale University. She will be performing an unaccompanied concert of Violin literature by Bach, Prokofiev, Stravinsky and others.
