Join this community choir group! The popular “IHMAC Singers,” formed by the Independence Historical Museum and Art Center in the summer of 2025, will once again offer a community choir experience for aspiring singers. The choir will be directed by Independence Middle and High School Choir Director Christopher Kurt, accompanied by Karen Knox on the piano.  The choir is open to anyone in the community, with no age limit.  Participants can feel free to attend; no sign-up is necessary. The choir will meet for the first time on Monday, June 8, at the museum from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Other dates include June 15, 22, & 29, and July 6, 13, 20, and 27.  The concert date is July 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the museum.
